  • Classes meet either 4 or 2 days per week for 10 weeks

    IRC Family Reunification Programs

    Central American Minors Program, AOR Reunification Program: a family reunification pathway available to children from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras with a qualifying parent residing in the U.S.

    Priority 3 Affidavit of Relationship Program: a low-cost family reunification pathway for refugees of certain nationalities who have immediate family members in the U.S.

    Applicants must work with a refugee resettlement agency, which IRC is, to file these applications. There is no filing fee and IRC is providing free screenings. For questions or to schedule an appointment please call (619) 389-8723 or email Anna at Anna.Talamantes@rescue.org.

MAKE Projects is a non-profit job training program that prepares refugees and immigrants to achieve their dreams. Our vision is to see San Diegans cross social, racial, economic and geographic lines as we gather over a common love of food, flavors and culture.

Explore our globally-inspired menu with socially-distanced seating and a view of our urban garden. Each dish highlights the seasonal herbs and veggies grown in the garden!

 Food Distribution Events

Location: Pauma Valley Community center (16650 Highway 76, Pauma, CA 92061)

Date/Time: 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month, 12-1pm

Universidad Popular partners with Feeding San Diego to provide food to almost 200 families in Pauma Valley every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 12 pm to 1 pm. For more information call 760-659-0109 at email [email protected].

Citizenship and Civic Education Classes

Location: Salon de Universidad Popular (261 Autumn Dr. Suite 114, San Marcos, CA 92069)

Date/Time: Every Tuesday

Universidad Popular offers free in-person Citizenship and Civic Education Classes where attendees learn about a different topic and review related civic questions in English and Spanish.
