On Friday, October 23rd 2020, Border Patrol shot and killed a man near the Las Americas outlets in San Ysidro. SDIRC, AFSC, and Alliance San Diego held a silent vigil 48 hours later to call for an immediate, independent and thorough investigation with no interference or involvement from Border Patrol, CBP or any other DHS agency. Our community deserves to know the truth, and be treated with dignity and respect.
